Tournament Information

Registration

Please register for all of the tournaments well in advance of the Cut-Off date. The Cut-Off date is only the last date in which we will accept entry forms in the mail. It does not mean that you can wait until that date to enter and then be put in the time slot or group you wish. The tourney may be full by that time, so consequently it would be to your benefit to send in the entry forms as soon as you get them and if you have to cancel out you have up until 8 pm of the Friday preceding the tourney for your check to be destroyed.
    The only exception to this is our tourney held at The Bridges and ast The TPC. We are required to let them know of any cancellations at least 10 days in advance of the tourney. We supply them with a list of the members scheduled to play 10 days in advance. If any cancellations occur after this date, we are responsible for having to pay for them.

Day of Tournament

After dropping off your clubs at the bag drop, park and go to the clubhouse for registration. WE WOULD LIKE FOR ALL PLAYERS TO REGISTER AT LEAST 15 MINTUES PRIOR TO SCHEDULED TEE TIMES. THIS GIVES THE PEOPLE WORKING THE TABLE A CHANCE TO GATHER THEIR EQUIPMENT AND GET THEMSELVES READY TO PLAY. THOSE REGISTERING AFTER THIS TIME MAY NOT GET DRINK TICKETS IF THE REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CLOSED.

Tees & Practice

The practice range will be available for all participants. All will tee off from the tees set for your particular age on the scorecard given to you. Due to the early tee times prior to daylight savings time in effect, there may not be a driving range availability

Format & Scoring

All NOGA tourneys are individual play tournaments.

 Entry Fee

Almost all tourneys require an entrance fee of $15 plus the cost of the cart at that particular course.

You are responsible for paying the cart fee at the particular course being played unless the cart fee has been collected in advance with your entry form and fee.

Entry Fee Particulars

 1. Golf

 2. On some tourneys a meal will be furnished to members playing. You will be given which tourneys these are in ample time.

Inclement Weather Policy

The tournament will hardly ever be canceled before the day of the event. If we are notified by the course being played that it would be CART PATH ONLY sometime prior to the day of the tourney, we will make every effort possible to notify you. Please arrive at the course and if we cannot play, we will schedule a rain date with the course management and then notify you when it is. If possible we will re-schedule the day of the cancelation.

Prizes and Refreshment

Included in the entrance fee for each tourney, every member playing in a tourney is given two tickets for which he is able to purchase either a soft drink, water, beer or other refreshment on the course or at the clubhouse. The prizes are also derived from the entrance fee and at most courses it is in the form of gift certificates from the Pro Shop of that particular course. By making the prizes in this format, it enables us to keep the cost of playing each tourney smaller as we are spending more at the course in the form of prizes. We award 3 places in each low gross and low net. Then we also give out numerous low net winner certificates. The number we give out is regulated by the number of golfers in the tourney. Keeping in mind we also support the Jr Golf Program of the area and some of the entrance fee goes toward this.
